Oakfield - Mary Elizabeth "Betsy" Lloyd left us to be with her parents, Joan and Ernest Lloyd and nephew, Alan Mosier on March 20, 2014.
A graduate of Akron Central School and SUNY Brockport, Betsy was a woman of many talents and interests which she lovingly shared. She loved to cook (her cookie platters are legendary), enjoyed antiquing, and being Aunt B, but her biggest passion was digging in the dirt. An avid gardener, Betsy lived for summer when she could tend her gardens. She extended the season by starting plants from seed (for everyone's gardens) and accumulating a large assortment of house plants.
Betsy will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her husband, Michael Spadacino, sister Laurie (Daryl) Mosier, niece Patience (Joshua) Kinney, and nephew Aaron (Martha) Mosier. She is also survived by a brother, James Lloyd.
Friends are invited to join the family to celebrate Betsy's life at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 26, 2014 at Burdett & Sanford Funeral Home 11 Maple Ave., Oakfield, NY. Memorials may be made to the Oakfield Fire Dept.
