Maxine M. (Kasmarek) DiFilippo, 77, of Batavia, passed away peacefully on September 11, 2015.
She was born November 23, 1937 in Batavia, a daughter of the late Anthony S. and Helen M. (Ossowski) Kasmarek.
Maxine worked at Brenner's Jewelry in Batavia as a bookkeeper for 37 years and 7 years at Darien Lake. She loved her family above all else. Maxine loved to cook, shop, garden and make jigsaw puzzles.
Survivors include two daughters, Kim M. (Jim) Turman and Lori A. (Kevin Squire) DiFilippo, both of Batavia; two sisters, Bridget (late Tom) Corris of Wesley Chapel, FL and Karen (Tom) Kleps of Corfu; one brother, Anthony (late Geraldine) Kasmarek of Batavia; two granddaughters, Jamie Lynn Turman and Jessica Marie Turman; two step-grandsons, Brett (Emily) Squire and Jeremy Squire along with many beloved nieces and nephews.
Calling hours are Thursday from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the H.E. Turner & Co. Funeral Home, 403 East Main Street, Batavia. Services will be at 11:30 a.m. Friday also at the funeral home.
