Megan Catherine Marchese, 26, of Basom, died Saturday, January 11, 2014.
Megan was born March 16, 1987 in Batavia, a daughter of John and Catherine (Peterson) Marchese of Basom.
A member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Medina, she enjoyed outdoor activities and riding her motorcycle. Megan had a love for animals, especially dogs.
Surviving along with her parents are her three sisters, Stacy (Kevin) Ledermann of Webster, Kristina (Jillian Lafond) Marchese of Batavia and Melissa Marchese of Morristown, NJ; her brother, Steven (Sherry) Marchese of Batavia; her grandmother, Mary Louise Peterson Mumford of Oakfield; and her three nephews, Kyle, Owen, and Ryan; along with several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
She is a granddaughter of the late Donald Mumford, Thomas and Catherine Marchese, and Norman Peterson.
Calling hours are Wednesday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Burdett & Sanford Funeral Home, 11 Maple Avenue, Oakfield. Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Trinity Lutheran Church, 1212 West Ave., Medina. Inurnment will be in Alabama Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family to be distributed to various charities.
