Corfu - Mrs. Nancy-Jo Rupp, 76, of Corfu, passed away, Thursday, January 10, 2013 at Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital.
Mrs. Rupp was born September 26, 1936 in Warsaw, a daughter of the late Edward and Florence Pickard Aubert.
Nancy enjoyed gardening, cooking and entertaining with her family and friends. A devoted wife, mother, and grandmother; she will be remembered by her family as resilient, strong, caring, loving.
She is survived by her husband of 21 years, David W. Rupp; her son, Laurence S. Root of Oil City, Pennsylvania; two daughters, Jennifer L. Root of Corfu and Linda L. Bardsley of Tampa, Florida; five Step-children, Walt (Joanne) Rupp of Pennsylvania, Peggy Korczak of Corfu, Randy (Sharon) Rupp of Rochester, David Rupp of Churchville, Doug (Sari) Rupp of Medina; a brother, Duane Aubert of Perry; 22 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She is the mother of the late Jeffrey L. Root, Joyce A. Root, and Randall E. Root; grandmother to the late Jarred Korczak, and sister of the late Lynda Lowe and Joyce Dundon.
There are no prior visiting hours. Graveside services will be held in the springtime at Grand View Cemetery, Batavia. Memorials may be made to the family.
