Neal A. Dickes, 75, of Batavia, died Wednesday, February 11, 2015 at the Genesee County Nursing Home in Batavia.
Neal was born September 30, 1939 in Batavia, a son of the late Edward and Marion (Hoy) Dickes.
Neal was an avid gardener and he retired from Davenport Tool & Die.
He is survived by his wife, Sharon (VanWyngaarden) Dickes, whom he married February 16, 1963; two sons, Peter Dickes and Edward Dickes; one daughter, Kimberly (Scott) Keene; grandchildren, Jenna Dickes-Deleo, Christine Dickes, Beth Dickes, SPC Garet (Alexandra) Keene, Samantha Keene and Zach Dickes; one great-grandchild, Christian Finch; brothers, Thomas (Sandra) Dickes, Terry (Peggy) Dickes; one sister, Lynda Dickes and many dear nieces and nephews.
Neal is a brother of the late Frances Hoy, Richard Dickes, Elaine Kaufman, Gary Dickes and Clyde Dickes.
There are no prior calling hours and services will be held at the convenience of the family.
