Batavia - Patricia A. Conway, 71, of Batavia, passed away Thursday, (April 24, 2014) at United Memorial Medical Center, in Batavia following a brief illness.
Mrs. Conway was born November 9, 1942 in Batavia, a daughter of the late Bernard and Doris (Stringham) Twardowski, Sr.
Pat enjoyed spending time with her family, especially going for drives with her sister. Those that knew her will remember her for her love of Tupperware and her desire to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. She lived for her grandchildren. She was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother and sister.
Pat is the wife of Lawrence C. Conway. The two were married June 27, 1987.
Along with her husband, she is survived by her daughters, Carol Griswold of Oakfield, and Terri King of East Concord; 5 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; siblings, Frances (Arthur) Bowen of Batavia, Steven (Hyo) Twardowski of Tacoma, WA, Michael (JoAnne) Twardowski, Jeffrey Twardowski, Bernard Twardowski, Jr., and Doreen Bogue all of Batavia. Several nieces, nephews, cousins and many dear friends also survive.
Friends may call on Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m. at H.E. Turner & Co, Inc., 403 East Main St., Batavia. Patricia's Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9:30 a.m., Wednesday, (April 30, 2014) at Resurrection Parish - St. Joseph's Site, 303 East Main Street, Batavia.
