Rena C. Wagner

Batavia - Rena C. Wagner, 90, of Batavia, passed away on Thursday, July 6, 2017 at the New York State Veteran's Home. Mrs. Wagner was born December 17, 1926 in Asiago, Italy, a daughter of the late Peter and Battastina Dalle Ave Costa. A member of St. Joseph's Church, she enjoyed gardening and word puzzles. Her husband, Robert E. Wagner, passed away on November 4, 1996. She is survived by her daughters, Jane (Keith) Monteleone of New Jersey, Mary (Stephen) Smith of Batavia, Kathleen (John) Suttell of Oakfield and Patricia (Charles) Zambito of Elba; ten grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; her brother, Victor (Jean) Costa of LeRoy; her sister, Mary Regeone of Virginia; her brother-in-law, Robert Lapp of Florida and several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her brother, Christy Costa, her sister, Dolores Lapp and her brothers-in-law, Squire (Ruth) Wagner and Paul Wagner. There are no prior visiting hours. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 8, 2017 at St. Joseph's Church, 303 East Main Street, Batavia.  Entombment will follow in St. Joseph’s Mausoleum.
