LeRoy - Richard L. Tiede, 81, of LeRoy, died Saturday, December 13, 2014 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester.
Richard was born August 26, 1933 in Batavia, a son of the late Frank and Grace (Heide) Tiede Sr.
He enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a carpenter with the Local 279 in Rochester.
Survivors include one brother, Roger (Dennis Alaimo) Tiede of Connecticut; two sisters-in-law, Mary Tiede of Batavia and Marlene Tiede-Beausoliel of Arizona; a brother-in-law, Bruce Culling of Florida and several nieces and nephews.
Richard is predeceased by his wife, Louise Tiede. He is a brother of the late Raymond Tiede, David Tiede, Frank Tiede Jr. and Dorothy Culling.
Calling hours are Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Bohm-Calarco-Smith Funeral Home, 308 East Main Street, Batavia. Services will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday also at the funeral home. Burial will be in Grandview Cemetery, Batavia.
