Oakfield - Roger S. "Duffy" Ingalsbe, 61, of Oakfield, passed away suddenly on Sunday, (June 29, 2014) at Unity Health System, in Rochester.
Mr. Ingalsbe was born February 25, 1953 in Batavia, a son of the late Otis J. and Viva (Kinne) Ingalsbe.
Duffy was a member of the Eagle Creek Yacht Club and greatly enjoyed fishing and boating. He loved spending time with his friends and family.
He is survived by his wife, Marianne (Thompson) Ingalsbe; a daughter, Tara (Fiancé Nolan Rubeun) Ingalsbe of Basom; a son, Ryan (Rachel) Ingalsbe of Camillus; a granddaughter, Estella Ingalsbe; and siblings, Michael (Arlene) Ingalsbe of El Mirage, AZ, and Dawn (Joe) Cassidy of Basom. Duffy is also survived by Jean DiCenso, Cheryl and Chrissy McDonald all of Oakfield; several nieces, nephews, cousins and many dear friends.
Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial gathering to celebrate Duffy's life from 1 to 6 p.m. on Sunday (July 6, 2014) at the Alabama Fire Hall, 2230 Judge Road, Basom. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family. Burial will be held privately in Reed Cemetery, Oakfield.
