Bergen - Stephen K. Chatham, 60, of Bergen, an engineer - manager at Markin Tubing in Wyoming, died Saturday, August 4, 2012 at Strong Memorial Hospital, in Rochester.
Mr. Chatham was born September 24, 1951 in Kingston, NY, the son of Richard Chatham of Florida and Barbara (Snyder) Chatham of Saugerties, NY.
He was very proud of his service with the Navy Seabees. He graduated from RIT and was an avid hotrod enthusiast.
He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth (Clarke) Chatham, whom he married October 12, 1975; 3 sons, Benjamin (Chasity) Chatham of CT, Ryan Chatham and Shane Chatham, both of Bergen; 2 grandchildren, Jessica Houseknecht and Cristian Ide, both of CT; a sister, Pam Mills of Saugerties, NY ; several nieces and nephews.
He was the brother of the late Leona Wood.
Friends may call on Wednesday from 4 to 7 p.m. at H.E. Turner & Co. Funeral Home, 51 S. Lake St., Bergen, where services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bergen Fire Department, P.O. Box 428, Bergen, NY 14416. Burial will be in Mt. Rest Cemetery in Bergen.
