Bergen - Stephen James Flagler, 74, of Bergen, an engineer at Gates Albert, Inc. in North Chili, prior to his retirement 10 years ago, died Sunday, April 20, 2014 at his home in Bergen.
Mr. Flagler was born January 7, 1940 in Rochester, the son of the late Henry and Grace (Horswell) Flagler.
He was a member of St. Brigid's Church in Bergen.
He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Mary Alice (Jones) Flagler; 2 sons, Scott (Kim) Flagler of Churchville and Jeffrey (Amy) Flagler of Wheatland; a step-son, Joshua Dickens of Batavia; 2 sisters, Mary (John) Bishopp and Anne Flagler, both of Gates; 4 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Friends are invited to attend his Mass of Christian burial at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Brigid's Church, 18 Gibson St., Bergen. Memorials may be made to Our Lady of Mercy Parish, St. Brigid's Church, c/o 44 Lake St., LeRoy, NY 14482. Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery in LeRoy. Arrangements were completed by H.E. Turner & Co., Funeral Home of Bergen.
