Steven E. Bussard

Corfu - Steven E. Bussard 61 of Corfu passed away on Monday, (January 20, 2025) at Buffalo General Hospital in Buffalo.

Mr. Bussard was born September 23, 1963 in Hamilton, Bermuda a son of Willard Bussard of Virginia Beach and the late Gloria (Zimmerman) Bussard. 

Steven had been attending the Oakfield Community Bible Church and was a 14 year veteran of the United States Army where he was Military Police. He was a member of the American Legion and enjoyed riding motorcycle, biking, going to the movies, and taking long walks. Most of all, he cherished time spent with his family.

Surviving along with his father, is his son, Philip Bussard of Italy; sisters, Evelyn Myers of Orlando, Florida, and Alison (Marcos) Hernandez Garcia of Oakfield; nieces, Crystal Lawrence, Rachel Rojas, and Ashley Marcos; nephew, Joseph Louis Myers. Several great-nieces and great-nephews also survive.

Steven is preceded in death by his brother, Joseph Heck and niece, Colleen Ann Hernandez.

A private graveside service with military honors will be held in Western New York National Cemetery for the family. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Disabled American Veterans.
