Teresa J. Hartman, 85, of Attica, passed away on Tuesday (September 13, 2016) at the Batavia Health Care Center.
She was born May 29, 1931 in Batavia, a daughter of the late Kazmircz and Honorota (Pula) Pcionek.
Teresa loved cats and birds and volunteered for a number of years at the Attica Historical Society. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, knitting and crocheting. After her retirement as the clerk/treasurer for Attica, she worked at the information booth at the Pembroke Thruway stop.
Survivors include her children, Krista Hartman of Rome, NY, Gregory Hartman of Attica and Lisa (Dennis Smock) Hartman of Corfu; two grandchildren, Stephanie and Melody, five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Teresa is the wife of the late Duane Hartman and a sister of the late Adam Pcionek, Richard Pcionek, Celia Sobala, Mary Fiorentino and Frank Mondziel.
Family and friends may call on Sunday from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the H.E. Turner & Co. Funeral Home, 403 East Main St., Batavia. Teresa's Mass of Christian Burial will be on Monday at 10:00 a.m. at Ascension Parish, 15 Sumner Street, Batavia. She will be laid to rest in Elmwood Cemetery, Batavia.
