Obituary of Teresa Ann Robinson
BATAVIA - Teresa Ann Robinson, 64, of Batavia, passed away on Wednesday, July 17, 2019, at Erie County Medical Center, surrounded by her family.
Teresa was born on August 10, 1954, in Batavia, a daughter of the late James and Irene (Pietrzykowski) Goodenbery.
Teresa worked as a Reset Manager at the Batavia K-Mart, for 35 years prior to her retirement. She enjoyed traveling with her husband Steve and visited NY City and Niagara Falls often, to name a few, was an avid theater lover and attended many theatrical events at Shea’s Performing Arts Center in Buffalo. She collected owl figurines and was described as one of the strongest and kindest of ladies.
Survivors include the love of her life, Steven L. Robinson, whom she married on April 23, 1988; 3 sons, Michael Devay, Jr. (Jessica Lafarnara) and Christopher (Tara) Devay, both of Batavia and Kurt Devay (Bryna Moreau) of New Hampshire; a daughter, Tina Martin (Craig Gates) of Batavia; 9 grandchildren, Dora Devay (Aaron Farley), Sydney Devay, Ayden Devay, Brady Devay, Colton Martin, Macey Martin, Calla Gates, Isabella Devay and Lucas Devay; 5 sisters, Barbara (Michael) Crowley of Attica, Ann Wilson (Steven Bennett) of East Bethany, Rose Luce, Irene Fuller, and Bernadette Goodenbery (Michael Owens), all of Batavia; 3 brothers, Martin Goodenbery of Greece, NY, Mark Goodenbery of Batavia and Matthew Goodenbery of TX; and a sister-in-law, Dawn (Jeff) McCoy of IL.
She was predeceased by her brother, James Goodenbery.
Friends may call on Wednesday, July 24, 2019 from 2 to 5 p.m. at Grace Baptist Church, 238 Vine St., Batavia where services will immediately follow at 5 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Kidney Foundation, 11921 Rockville Pike, Suite 300, Rockville, MD 20852. Arrangements were entrusted to H.E. Turner & Co. Funeral Home, 403 East Main St., Batavia.
