Theodore W. "Ted" Strang
Oakfield - Theodore W. "Ted" Strang, 38, of Oakfield, an employee in the maintenance department of the New York State Thruway Authority in Batavia, died Friday, October 11, 2013 as a result of an ATV accident in Morris, PA.
Mr. Strang was born November 12, 1974 in Batavia, a son of Donald Strang of Attica and the late, Cindy (Sweezy) Strang.
He was a graduate of Attica High School, was an avid 4-wheeler and motorcyclist. He is described as being very mechanically inclined, friendly, outgoing, funny and a "great guy".
He is survived by his wife, Christina M. (Waldmiller) Strang, whom he married August 30, 1997; three children, Lindsey Strang, Joshua Strang and Hannah Strang, all of Oakfield; a brother, Buck (Sam) Strang of Alexander; a sister, Judy (Mark) Friedhaber of Strykersville; survived by several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Friends may call on Monday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Burdett & Sanford Funeral Home, 11 Maple Ave., Oakfield, where services will follow at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family. Burial will be in Cary Cemetery in Oakfield.
