Mr. Vincent E. Wood, 67, of Batavia, died Friday (September 13, 2013) at home.
Mr. Wood was born January 23, 1946 in Dansville, the son of the late Vincent and Luella (Witherell) Wood.
Mr. Wood enjoyed playing cards and baseball and was a line worker at O-AT-KA in Batavia. He was an umpire for Little League baseball games in Batavia.
Survivors include his wife, Ann (Bennett) Wood of Batavia; children, Colleen (Rene) Figueroa of Mt. Morris, Kimberly Wood of Rochester , Jeffrey (Patty) Wood of Syracuse, Lisa (Mark) Puma of Pittsford, Jason (Tina Fares) Wood of Batavia and Wendy Federico of Batavia; a sister, Marcy Wood of Rome, NY; thirteen grandchildren, a great-granddaughter and several nieces and nephews.
He is predeceased by a sister, Christine LeVeě.
Calling hours are Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Bohm-Calarco-Smith Funeral Home, 308 East Main Street, Batavia. Services will be at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, also at the funeral home.
