Elba - Mrs. Vincentia M. Smith, 69, of Elba, died Friday (November 16, 2012) at the United Memorial Medical Center in Batavia.
Mrs. Smith was born November 23, 1942 in Batavia, a daughter of the late Patsy and Mary (Anastasia) George.
Mrs. Smith was a member of Ascension Parish and loved her grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband, Kenneth Smith of Elba; her four children, Daniel (Connie) Smith of San Antonio, TX, Lynn (Jim) Tabor of Elba, Ken (Kelly) Smith of Middleburg, FL and Missy (Ken) Tindale of Rochester; six grandchildren, Patrick Tindale, Joey Tindale, Megan Tabor, Nathan Tabor, Caryson Smith and Carter Smith; a sister, Ann Marie Sowers of Florida and nieces, nephews and aunts.
She is a sister of the late Patricia DePalma.
Calling hours are Tuesday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Bohm-Calarco-Smith Funeral Home, 308 East Main Street, Batavia. Her Mass of Christian Burial will Wednesday at 9:00 a.m. at Ascension Parish - St. Anthony's Church, 122 Liberty Street, Batavia. Burial will be in Maple Lawn Cemetery, Elba. Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
