Batavia - Mr. William "Bill" F. Fazio, Jr., age 75, of Batavia, dedicated family man and avid reader, passed away on Sunday, August 26, 2012 at United Memorial Medical Center.
Mr. Fazio was born September 24, 1936 in Brooklyn, a son of the late William F. Sr. and Anna Russo Fazio.
He is survived by his wife, Norlene Boyce Fazio; his children, Crystal Hawley of West Henrietta, Michael (Kim) Fazio of Bergen and Bonnie (Lynn) Shuknecht of Elba; his brother, Robert (Nancy) Fazio of Elba; five grandsons, Daniel (Linda) Rimmer of Pittsford, Tim (Anne) Rimmer of Rochester, Alexander (Kate) Shuknecht, Eric (Kayla) Shuknecht and Adam Shuknecht, all of Elba; two great-grandchildren, Reagan and Carter Rimmer of Pittsford and several nieces and nephews.
As per his request there will be no calling hours or funeral service, but rather a simple family gathering for a quiet, gentle man. Burial will be in Maple Lawn Cemetery, Elba. In lieu of flowers, please consider memorials to Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758517, Topeka, Kansas 66675.
