Annual Remembrance Service

As the holiday season approaches, our thoughts turn to those whom we have served during the past year. Many of those who have experienced loss tell us that their first Christmas was difficult for them. To assist you in what may be a difficult time, we are extending to you and your family an invitation to our 29th annual “Service of Prayer and Remembrance”.

The “Service of Prayer and Remembrance” imparts a warm, quiet and reflective atmosphere, offering time for personal reflection and remembrance. It will begin at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 4, 2024 at the Northgate Free Methodist Church, 8160 Bank Street Road, Batavia, New York. The doors will open at 6:00 p.m.

If you or your family plan to attend, it is important that the registration form below is completed no later than Friday December 1, 2024. Please be sure that you enter your loved one’s name in the space provided, spelled as you wish it to appear on your candle. Attendees are welcome to submit more than one name. We will be presenting a memorial candle to you (one candle per deceased). Your candle, along with hundreds of other candles, will shine throughout the service, and will be extinguished at the conclusion. Our hope is that you will take your candle home to be lit in memory of your loved one on Christmas Day.
